Burano is the stating point for countless excursions in the lagoon. In addition to the lace museum and the church of San Martino, where you can admire paintings painted by Tiepolo and other artists of the time, you can in fact organize outings in the lagoon with private boats.

You will have the opportunity to experience fishing in the lagoon accompanied by expert fishermen or, if you prefer, you can discover with a photographic tour in the lagoon, the most idden and suggestive corners accompanied by a professional photographer. Every day, just 10 minutes by private boat, it is possible to visit the nearby island of San Francesco Del Deserto, an oasis of peace inhabited only by few Franciscan friars.

The island of Torcello “ the ancient Venice” can be reached by public transport just 5 minutes by vaporetto.

30 minutes from Burano, by public transport, you can also reach one of the most beautiful beaches of the Adriatic for a nice day in the sun.

For lovers of jogging, Burano offers the possibility to reach the green island of Mazzorbo connected to Burano by a bridge. This is the ideal place to have a nice run in the open air and reach the ancient church of Santa Caterina dating back to the thirteenth century.
